Sponsor-A-Child

Helping Hands' Sponsor-A-Child project gives people who would like to help the opportunity to sponsor a child through a regular monthly donation of R250.00 per child.  These donations go towards meeting the immediate and future educational needs of these children as much as possible.

This program was initiated by one of Helping Hands' volunteers, recognising that there are people who are willing to share their resources to help the children on a regular basis.  Currently, we have 10 children being sponsored through this program.

Helping Hands is registered as a Public Benefit Organisation in terms of section 30 of the South African Income Tax Act, and  has been approved in terms of section 18A (1)(a) of the Income Tax Act, therefore donations to the organisation will be tax deductible in the hands of the donor.  A tax certificate is issued to donors at the end of each tax year.

We thank all our sponsors for your faithful monthly donations, which are a huge help for the children.

We also have our annual Sponsor-A-Child’s birthday, where people can sponsor a child’s birthday by sending them a birthday cake and a birthday gift.

If you wish to make a difference in the life of one of our children, and would like to take part in our Sponsor-A-Child program or our Sponsor-A-Birthday program,  kindly contact us at info.hhands@gmail.com.
